GE Alstom

As part of the big merger that was happening between GE and Alstom we were asked to design and develop them a platform to communicate this information along with news and updates in multiple languages, worldwide.

The Build

This site is a monolithic WordPress build, fully responsive, and has been developed Mobile First, with the Front End view templates separated from the Back End using Twig templating. It is also Multilingual, which is enabled via a Multipage setup, allowing for content to be easily duplicated and shared between languages, whilst providing separate content structures and features to be defined. It was another tight deadline, but we were able to deliver on time and within budget.

My Role

• Technical Lead and Full Stack Developer
• Provided estimates and technical oversight to  the design process
• Developed the site, ensuring all code perfectly aligned with UX/UI requirements.
