Background

The California Tobacco Control Program needed a mobile first platform to support their advertising campaign that further informed, inspired and activated concerned citizens across California. It was created to prompt conversations for parents about flavoured tobacco marketing tactics and statistics in an easily digestible manner, and provide clear and easy paths to activism.

The Build

This site is a fully responsive WordPress build, that has been developed Mobile First. The Front End view templates have been separated from the Back End using Twig templating to allow for a much cleaner code structure. It is also Multilingual, which is enabled via a Multisite setup, allowing for content to be easily duplicated and shared between languages, whilst providing separate content structures and features to be defined.

• Oversaw it’s second phase of Development which included the addition of all the Asian language sites, new features and various code updates and accessibility improvements.
